That is the Android application that helps parents to control the time and applications their child uses. I was responsible for creating the overall style, ux/ui, mascot, user flows and digital assets such as images for emails and Google Play. During the project I collaborated with product managers, developers and marketers.
I started working on the project when it was just an idea for a startup. By working with the product owner on user flows, we were able to increase the conversion rate, which allowed the project to pay for itself in 1 year.
To increase the child's loyalty to the application, a playful style was chosen and a specially designed mascot was created to accompany the child and their parents at all stages.
Once all the settings have been completed, the parent can access the child's phone statistics.
Before getting started, a parent needs to manage device permissions and connect to a child's phone. This is quite a long process and it was a challenge for the product team to find a balance between the necessary settings and the number of steps. The result I found a solution to minimise the number of steps and add illustrations to make the onboarding screens fun.
The next important step is to set up a child's phone. This requires more permissions, such as blocking adult content and applications, and setting access to control apps to work time.
